The proposed action has a research character, which focuses on highlighting a dialectical conversation between the place and the contemporary visual forms and the discourses of the theoretical discourse. It is developed as an idea of ​​a collective, experimental event of public contemporary art where Greek and foreign artists, scientists and theorists (sociologists, environmentalists, anthropologists, art historians and theorists, museologists, writers) participate, creating alternative visual histories, representations and events around the idea of ​​experiencing the element of sand and the sea coastline.

The collective project of the participatory artistic action of the Dim. of Thermis School, is presented at the Exhibition "Pilot actions for the Networks of Folk Artisans and the Visual Landscape of the North Aegean" from May 9-18 in the event hall of the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Island Policy. Organization CREATION Commun.Sep and "[e- Aegean CulTour -Art & Action Network]: UNIVERSITY OF THE AEGEAN. Daily 10.00 am - 2.00 pm in the event hall of the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Islands Policy, Mytilini - Lesvos. Presentations and workshops for schools, groups and interested audiences are held at the exhibition by appointment.

Πρόσκλησης Ενδιαφέροντος προς εικαστικούς καλλιτέχνες, θεωρητικούς τέχνης και πολιτισμού, λογοτέχνες για συμμετοχή σε έκθεση με τίτλο "Η σοφή ελιά”, με θέμα την ιδέα της βίωσης του πολιτισμού της ελιάς, η οποία θα λάβει χώρα στα τέλη Οκτωβρίου (2022) στη Μυτιλήνη. Η ελιά αποτελεί ένα κυρίαρχο στοιχείο και σύμβολο γνωριμίας με τον τόπο, το τοπίο, τους ανθρώπους και τις κοινότητες, οικοδομώντας μία νέα σχέση διαλόγου ανάμεσα στις κοινότητες και στους συμμετέχοντες εικαστικούς και θεωρητικούς. Στο νησί της Λέσβου υπάρχει σημαντικό αρχειακό υλικό, αλληλένδετο με τα ιδιαίτερα ανθρωπολογικά, πολιτισμικά, ιστορικά, γεωπολιτικά και κοινωνικά χαρακτηριστικά της ευρύτερης περιοχής. Οι υλικότητες του Λέσβιου γεωγραφικού τοπίου και τα πυργόσπιτα λειτούργησαν ως τόποι ηρωικών προσώπων και των οικογενειών ειδικά ιστορικών ζωγράφων όπως ο Θεόφιλος Χατζημιχαήλ συμπυκνώνοντας την ιστορία του τόπου.
