- Director and founder (1995) of the Laboratory of Social and Cultural Documentation of the Department of Sociology (until relatively recently). Which I continue to support with research projects, publications and activities. The lab has completed major projects particularly on music art and its artistic performance. An important series of works entitled "Musical Crossroads of the Aegean" has been published following long-term research in which important professors, musicology, ethnomusicology and traditional and contemporary musicians have collaborated and continue to collaborate. The main collaborator and scientific co-editor of these works and publications is Professor Dim. Papageorgiou, current vice-rector of the University of the Aegean.
